🔴 Pre-trip advice to avoid pitfalls:
① Visa-free, but you need to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) and a yellow book (valid for 10 years after one injection)
② Passport with more than six months of validity
③ Kenya is cold in the morning and evening, and hot at noon.

Bring 1-2 thick jackets and sun protection clothing
④ Exchange dollars in your home country, then exchange for shillings in Nairobi, which is more cost-effective
⑤ British standard power adapter, binoculars, power bank, headphones, camera with a long lens
⑥ During the safari, do not make noise or throw food at animals to avoid being attacked
⑦ Kenya has strict “plastic ban” regulations, so do not bring non-compliant plastic products
⑧ The water quality in Kenya is not good, use bottled water for washing your face and rinsing your mouth, and do not drink raw water to avoid bacterial infection
⑨ Safari trips are mostly in national parks, pay attention to safety, listen to the driver-guide, do not get off the vehicle at will, and do not throw food at animals

During the safari, never climb on top of the vehicle, as it will be photographed by conservation personnel

❌ “Plastic ban”:
The “plastic ban” is particularly important, Kenya is very strict about this, violators may be fined up to 4 years in jail, and a fine of 2 to 3 million shillings (about 140,000 to 280,000 RMB) (high fines or jail time)
❌ Safety issues:
From May, there have been public demonstrations, although the dates are announced in advance, it’s still best to avoid staying in the city
