The moment you step out of your room, you are greeted by the vibrant African sunrise, filling the sky with a warm, golden glow.

The lodge is home to a playful troop of monkeys, but there’s no need to worry; they keep to themselves and add a charming touch to the natural surroundings. From the lodge, you can embark on thrilling safaris and encounter majestic elephants, herds of wildebeests, and a myriad of colorful birds, making for incredible photo opportunities.

The rooms at the lodge are cozy and intimate, though they may not be the most spacious. At night, the air fills with the sounds of nature, including the occasional buzz of mosquitoes. Inside, you might spot geckos, and along the pathways, small lizards scurry through the grass. For those who are sensitive to insect bites, it’s advisable to bring disposable sheets for added comfort and some insect repellent spray for peace of mind.

The lodge serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a buffet style, offering a consistent variety of dishes. While the food is generally satisfactory, it may not cater to the most discerning palates. After a couple of days, the only dish that stood out was the succulent pork chop, which was a welcome highlight.
