The viewing platform by the lake, which you can see in the last picture, has now become a paid attraction managed by Koreans 😂 (5 francs). Interestingly, the queue is filled almost entirely with Korean visitors! My friend in Switzerland mentioned that it was still free when she visited just last year.

For the best photo opportunities, I highly recommend heading to the lakeside near the castle. It’s incredibly picturesque—just walk a bit further to the right, where you’ll find three benches lined up, perfect for capturing the serene beauty of the area.

Ps: This quaint town only has 3 restaurants and 2 hotels, and they tend to be both expensive and very crowded. Therefore, I suggest everyone to take their photos and then head out. If possible, it’s best to drive yourself, as this allows for easy access to nearby attractions like Grindelwald and Lungern.
