My Year in the UK: Experiences and Tips for New Expats

Time really does fly! It feels surreal to realize that I’ve already spent over a year in the UK.

Earning my law degree from Aberystwyth University stands as a monumental achievement, especially considering I embarked on this journey alone.

The path wasn’t always smooth—there were moments of loneliness and the challenges of adapting to a new environment. Yet, these experiences were balanced by the incredible people I met and the rich, unfamiliar culture I immersed myself in. Exploring new places has been the highlight of my time here, with each trip etching unforgettable memories into my heart.

Now, I’m embarking on a new adventure: a barrister training course in Nottingham. I am eagerly looking forward to what the future holds and am ready to embrace this exciting new chapter with open arms!
