Explore Danang, Vietnam: Free and Easy Travel Tips for Ba Na Hills Adventure
Sisters! The guide to Ba Na Hills is ready 🏷️! (I will also be releasing a 4-day, 3-night summary guide for Da Nang later!)

⛰️ How to get there ❓
To go to Ba Na Hills, you can take a Grab or the free shuttle bus 🚌. The bus departs at 2 PM, so make sure to arrive early!!
Important‼️ Bus stop location‼️
📍The Ba Na Hills bus stop is in front of the NOVOTEL hotel!
(Image 8! Currently, there are no updated and correct bus stop locations on 🍠, so make sure not to go to the wrong place!

) It’s right in front of the main entrance of this hotel. The bus is small, so before getting on, confirm with the driver if it’s going to Banahill!

⛰️ Where to buy tickets ❓
Book in advance on KLOOK ✅. You can buy afternoon tickets, which have fewer people. Plus, you can experience the night view of the French village, which is also very beautiful! KLOOK offers meal-inclusive packages, buffet style, with average variety but good taste. Each person can get two free beers 🍺 or a fresh coconut 🥥 with two admission tickets, and there’s a live band performance, creating a nice atmosphere.

⛰️ Where to start playing ❓
Before going, I referred to many guides and planned to start from the Golden Buddha Hand – Moon Castle – Mountain Top Amusement Park – French Village, moving from bottom to top. However, it started raining on the bus… (Da Nang enters the rainy season 🌧️ in August, so there are occasional showers in July, remember to bring an umbrella ☂️)
Sure enough, after arriving at Ba Na Hills, due to the rain and lightning ⚡, the cable car to the Golden Buddha Hand was suspended.

.. All plans were disrupted…
🔖 Tip: Before going to Ba Na Hills, make sure to check the weather for that day! Ensure it’s a sunny day with clear skies ☀️

With no choice, we had to take the escalator 😂 and head to the Moon Castle first, as we were afraid of missing the 4D movie (⌚️ only available before 5 PM! A must-see! The second floor isn’t very interesting, and the effects are just okay… mostly for kids, go for the third floor!! The experience is very impressive, similar to a horizon-crossing 3D movie without glasses!)

In the end, ❗️ I don’t know if it was due to the weather, but the cable car stopped three times in the middle! I was really scared 😩. By the time we reached the Moon Castle, it was almost 5 PM 😫. We rushed to the third floor, and after the movie, the cable car to the Golden Buddha Hand finally resumed operation.

The Golden Buddha Hand is quite impressive, with a serene and solemn feeling. Standing on the bridge and looking down at the entire mountain forest, it’s perfect for clearing your mind 🧘🏻.
After spending some time at the Golden Buddha Hand, due to the earlier series of mishaps, we didn’t have time to go to the mountain top amusement park, so we went straight to the French Village. You must come with a friend who knows how to take photos! Otherwise, like me, you’ll only have one back-view photo to choose from 😊.
Make sure to start your descent by 8 PM at the latest! Missing the 9 PM return bus 🚌 would be a real bummer. The downhill cable car ride is quite lengthy….🚠, so give yourself plenty of time to make it back comfortably.
