Explore Hoi An, Vietnam: Best Ancient Town and Cultural Experiences
My favorite destination during my Vietnam journey was the enchanting Hoi An Ancient Town. Dating back to the 17th century, it stands as one of the earliest Chinatowns in Vietnam. The town is a treasure trove of ancient architecture, blending Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese styles, all meticulously preserved. Miraculously, these historic structures have remained unscathed by the ravages of war, and the locals have transformed them into charming shops and eateries.

During the day, the town’s yellow-washed facades, adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, exude an air of timeless elegance. As the sun sets, Hoi An transforms into a magical wonderland, illuminated by a kaleidoscope of lights. The streets come alive with a dazzling array of colors, and visitors can enjoy a leisurely boat ride along the tranquil waters, immersing themselves in the serene and enchanting atmosphere.
