Discover the Hottest Spots in Penang: Must-Visit Places for Every Traveler
📍1. NATSU
We ventured to the Seaside Sunset Restaurant without a reservation and managed to snag a table. The view was breathtaking, but unfortunately, the food was just average. Compared to other dining spots in Penang, the prices are on the steeper side. I’d advise skipping the beef rice; it’s not worth the taste or the price. This restaurant is nestled along the picturesque Batu Ferringhi beach.

📍2. p.66
This charming spot offers a delightful mix of coffee and cultural and creative products, primarily sourced from Japan and Korea. It’s a perfect place to unwind and explore unique items.

📍HEMAHEMA
Still a bustling and popular store, HEMAHEMA didn’t have a queue when we visited. We indulged in three flavors: two classic options (caramel biscuit and oat milk) and one Da Hong Pao milk tea, which, if I recall correctly, was the standout choice. It was truly the best of the bunch!

📍7th Road Market
Many fellow food enthusiasts on Xiaohongshu have raved about the culinary delights at 7th Road Market. Following their recommendations, we ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was delicious. My tip: arrive early to beat the heat. By noon, the scorching temperatures make it challenging to enjoy your meal fully.

Sun protection is a must in Penang! Despite taking taxis everywhere, we still ended up with sunburns. Don’t forget to lather up with sunscreen!

Another notable mention is the famous Nasi Kandar-Hameediya, a well-known Indian restaurant in Penang. As shown in picture 7️⃣, it’s a must-try for those craving authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine.
