Essential Guide: How to Enter Malaysia Smoothly with Must-Have Requirements

Malaysia is now visa-free, but there’s a crucial step you can’t miss: applying for the Malaysian MDAC electronic entry card at least 3 days in advance! 🌈 Preparations before entry
1⃣ Passport (mandatory): Ensure it’s valid for more than 6 months, undamaged, and even new passports are acceptable.
2⃣ MDAC Entry Card (mandatory): Fill it out within 3 days before your trip. Detailed Chinese filling instructions are provided at the end of the image!
3⃣ Hotel itinerary and return flight ticket: Electronic versions are fine.

Note that Malaysia doesn’t check return tickets upon entry, but they will be checked when you depart from China.
4⃣ SIM Card: Purchase one after arrival or activate international roaming.
5⃣ Power adapter: Buy a UK standard one.
6⃣ Cash: Bring around 500 RM just in case.
7⃣ VISA card, UnionPay card: Remember to lock your card on the app before and after use to prevent fraud.
