Regarding the mixed reviews of PIR, I was quite nervous before my visit 😳. Everything new is exciting, and for me, PIR definitely lived up to the hype. The beach is absolutely stunning 🏝️, with crystal-clear waters teeming with colorful fish 🐟 and vibrant corals 🪸 near the dock. You can even spot small sharks gliding by, and if you venture a bit deeper, you might just meet Nemo!

The resort is a haven for wildlife, with adorable little squirrels 🐿️ and majestic lizards roaming freely. Visitors from other hotels often come here for snorkeling, arriving by water taxi 🚤. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and enjoy quality time with your kids, I highly recommend staying at PIR.

Room type: Premier Beach Front
Based on online recommendations, it’s best to go for the “Premier” room 😂. These are newly renovated and offer the most breathtaking sea views 🌊 right in the front row. Your children can dash straight into the ocean as soon as they step out the door.

🚪 About the room >
The bed is spacious, and since we had a child, they kindly added an extra bed at night. While the bedding is a bit worn, using travel sheets made it perfectly comfortable. The bathroom is immaculately clean.
Amenities include mineral water, a hairdryer, and a kettle. The clothes drying rack on the balcony is a thoughtful touch and very convenient.

👂🏼 Soundproofing issue >
The soundproofing is excellent; you won’t hear any noise from neighboring rooms, and the soothing sound of the waves is a perfect backdrop. The air conditioning is also very effective.

☎️ Booking channel >
You can book through the official website or major platforms, whichever offers the better deal! During the peak season in July and August, prices tend to be higher, and availability is limited, so it’s wise to book two months in advance. A basic room with breakfast included is recommended.

There’s no need for a package, as the island offers a variety of dining options, allowing you to explore different flavors. You can also choose from several diving shops, including PIR’s own, which provides both snorkeling and introductory dives.

🍚 About dining >
Head towards the PIR dock, go down the stairs, and take a short walk 🚶‍♂️. Nearby, you’ll find Coral View, Barat, and Mamas. I’ve tried two of them.
🍴 Mamas: Not recommended, despite the low prices. The mama fried rice is decent, but the owner is dishonest, serving us the most frozen squid 🦑 at the bottom 😡.
🍴 Barat: Highly recommended, with delicious and popular dishes. The BBQ seafood is fresh, the portions are generous, and the burger 🍔 is surprisingly good.

🦺 Rent life jackets from the diving shop for 5 RM per day.
