To reach the enchanting Perhentian Island, your journey begins at Kota Bharu Airport (Sultan Ismail Petra Airport).
From there, head to Kuala Besut Jetty, the gateway to your island adventure.
The drive from Kota Bharu Airport to Kuala Besut Jetty takes about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Here are your transportation options from Kota Bharu Airport to Kuala Besut Jetty:
– Shared van: 25 RM per person one way (a budget-friendly choice)
– Taxi: 80 RM one way per taxi (for a more private and comfortable ride)
You can purchase boat tickets in a couple of ways:

– Adult: 60 RM round trip per person
– Child: 30 RM round trip per person
The island welcomes visitors from 8 AM to 5 PM, so plan accordingly!
Departure times from the island are at 8 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM, and 4 PM. Remember to notify the staff the day before your departure.
The scenic boat ride from the jetty to the island takes 30 to 45 minutes, offering a perfect start to your tropical getaway.
