We drove to the dock at Fairfield by Marriott Kuala Besut, where hotel guests can park for free—a fantastic perk! From there, we hopped aboard Marriott’s private boat, which departs twice daily at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The 40-minute journey is smooth and hassle-free, making the entire process a breeze.

This time, we opted for a partial ocean view room. While it wasn’t a full ocean view, the bathroom and balcony still offered beautiful sea vistas, and the evening sea breeze on the balcony was simply delightful. The room featured a Southeast Asian style with a modern minimalist design, and it was impeccably clean and comfortable. The bedding, in particular, was incredibly soft and cozy, rivaling that of any high-end city Marriott.
