Graduation Trip for 8 – Sharing Our Adventure ❤️

First Day on the Island – We set off on our adventure at 8 am, boarding a boat that whisked us away to The Barat, our home for the next 3 days and 2 nights. The journey was swift, taking just 26 minutes, and we had only booked the accommodation, leaving plenty of room for spontaneity.

After checking in, we couldn’t wait to dive into the crystal-clear waters and explore the underwater world. Snorkeling 🤿 was our first activity, and it was nothing short of spectacular. We were greeted by vibrant corals, graceful sea turtles, playful black clownfish, and even a few curious sharks 🐠🐟. The water was so clear that every detail was visible, and the early morning timing meant we had the snorkeling spot almost entirely to ourselves.

For lunch, we headed to the restaurant at The Barat. The food was decent, and the prices were reasonable, making it a convenient choice. After refueling, we spent the afternoon exploring the island, playing volleyball, and strolling along the pristine beaches. For dinner, we ventured to the neighboring hotel’s restaurant, where the menu and prices were similarly satisfying.

The highlight of the evening was the fire show at The Barat! 🔥 It was a mesmerizing display of skill and artistry. We learned that this incredible performance was previously exclusive to the small island, but now it’s also available on the big island. With fewer crowds, we managed to get front-row seats and fully immerse ourselves in the fiery spectacle.

A Small Tip for Staying on the Big Island: If you prefer a quieter, more laid-back atmosphere, the big island is perfect. There are no bustling bars, and restaurants close relatively early. To keep the night going, bring your own instant noodles, snacks, and drinks for a cozy late-night snack. If you’re feeling adventurous, a water taxi can take you to the small island. It costs 15 per person in the morning, and the price doubles after 7 pm.
