Discover Malaysia’s Perhentian Island Paradise: Crystal Clear Seas Await!

The photo arrived a bit late, but the urge to venture out and enjoy life has surged once again. I must admit, the lasting charm of Perhentian Island in Malaysia is truly irresistible!

In June, I cleverly combined the Dragon Boat Festival holiday with four days of annual leave, resulting in a blissful 7-day getaway to Perhentian Island and Kuala Lumpur 🫧. After an adventurous journey that included travel by water, land, and air, we finally reached the island. We spent two nights each on both the smaller and larger Perhentian Islands.

📍 Small Perhentian: Mimpo Perhentian; Big Perhentian: PIR.

During my stay, I indulged in shore diving and scuba diving 🤿, and experienced a thrilling night on the big Perhentian (where two geckos 🦎 in the room provided a unique lullaby with their alternating calls). I almost ran out of cash, which added a bit of unexpected excitement 😅.

Overall, it was an incredibly relaxing and memorable experience. I can’t help but declare: I will always have a deep love for the sea!!!!!
