Exploring Yogyakarta with Friends: Simple Yet Joyful Travel Experience 🫧🇲🇾🇮🇩

Day 1🦋
📍The House of Raminten
– We indulged in Nasi Tenong, a delightful and budget-friendly treat that left our taste buds dancing!

Day 2🦋
📍Jomblang Cave
– This vertical cave is renowned for its breathtaking “Heavenly Light” phenomenon🪽.
– After gearing up with boots and helmets (provided), we descended 60 meters using ropes, reaching the bottom of the cave✨. A short walk later, we were bathed in the ethereal glow of the “Heavenly Light”.
– Don’t forget to bring a flashlight🔦 and a waterproof phone case💦 to capture the magic!

📍Pindul Cave
– The tour offers a serene float down the river on an inner tube🏞️.
– Each stalactite has a unique story; one even promises to make you more beautiful if you touch it🤣🎀.
– I took the plunge and tried cliff jumping for the first time!🫧 (at a height I felt comfortable with🤓).
– Remember to bring a waterproof phone case!📱

📍Oya River
– For the thrill-seekers, Oya River is perfect for cliff jumping🧰.
– With someone to pull us along, we mostly relaxed on the inner tubes, gently drifting down the river🦦.
– Don’t forget to pack a waterproof bag, a change of clothes, and plenty of sunscreen!☀️

Day 3🦋
📍Borobudur Temple
– We purchased tickets for local Indonesian tourists (using KITAS) for Rp120k. Along with the ticket, we received a pair of sandals (Upanat)🩴 and mineral water.
– The sun was blazing, so an umbrella🌂 and a small fan are must-haves.
– ✨Wear bright-colored clothes or dresses for those Instagram-worthy shots!

📍Prambanan Temple
– As we were studying the map, a friendly local offered to be our guide (for a fee)🤣. He regaled us with the stories behind the stone carvings on the temple walls, adding a touch of humor to the history💫.
