Jomblang Cave in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

The experience was even more thrilling than just taking photos! Being lowered by human power, trekking through muddy paths, and moving from one cave entrance to another truly gave a sense of adventure 😜😜
“Yet the world’s most magnificent, splendid, and extraordinary sights are often found in perilous and remote places, where few dare to venture. Only those with true determination can reach such wonders.”

[Check-in R] Tips: Pay on-site and get a number; they only accommodate one group of about 30 people per day, entering the cave at 9:30 AM. So, our guide picked us up bright and early at 6 AM [Facepalm R]
[Check-in R] We hired a guide and a car to take us there, and bought tickets on-site for 500k IDR, which included rain boots, lunch, and some small breads.

We finished exploring and eating around 1 PM.
[Check-in R] The mesmerizing Tyndall effect can only be captured when the sun shines directly, so it really depends on luck.
[Check-in R] In the afternoon, we visited the Water Castle and wrapped up just as it closed at 3 PM. Unfortunately, the Sultan’s Palace closes at 2 PM, so we missed it.

Later, we strolled down Malioboro Street in the evening, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and having a delightful dinner.
