Comprehensive Guide to Planning and Enjoying Your Trip in Indonesia
Indonesia, composed of 17,506 islands, is known as the country of a thousand islands, and there are actually many attractions to visit. Today, I will talk about some fun places in Indonesia. This is a carefully compiled list; those who want to plan their trip well can bookmark it. Indonesia is worth visiting multiple times to explore slowly.

① The most familiar Indonesian attractions for everyone are Bromo Volcano, Sewu Waterfall, and Ijen Volcano. These attractions are all located on Java Island and can be arranged together for a 3-day-2-night trip (basically getting up early every day to watch the sunrise and blue fire, a special forces itinerary, but very worthwhile).

✈ Juanda Airport (Surabaya)
② Bali, which is a province of Indonesia, has a large area. Due to narrow roads and heavy traffic, the transportation situation is not ideal, often requiring an hour to travel 20 km. It is recommended to visit 2-3 places per day, so you don’t spend too much time in the car.

Lovina and Mount Agung are in the north of Bali, 🚗 4 hours from the airport.
Ubud is in the center, with rich yoga, meditation, forest, and rice field landscapes. 🚗 2 hours from the airport.
Canggu and Seminyak, with beaches, fitness, and bars, 🚗 40 minutes from the airport.
Kuta, to the north of the airport, with surfing and bars, 🚗 10 minutes from the airport.

Jimbaran, to the south of the airport, is a residential area, famous for Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. 🚗 20 minutes from the airport.
Uluwatu, in the south of Bali, with the most beautiful sunset on the cliff beach, 🚗 1 hour from the airport.
Nusa Penida, a place featured in Apple wallpapers, requires a 50-minute boat ride from Bali.
✈ Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar Airport), Kuta and Jimbaran are near the airport.
🚢 Gilimanuk Pier. After visiting Ijen Volcano, you can go directly to the South Banyuwangi Port, take a 1-hour boat to Bali. It is recommended to stay in Lovina, chase dolphins the next day, and then go to other places.
③ Komodo. The recommended way to play is by liveaboard, 3 days and 2 nights, including Komodo National Park, Pink Beach, seeing manta rays, and Komodo dragons, etc., snorkeling every day, watching the sunrise and sunset at sea.
✈ Komodo Airport
④ Sulawesi. Actually, Sulawesi is mainly for mining and industry, with not many places to play.
However, due to fewer tourists, those who like niche and quiet places should not miss it.
Paisupuk Lake, with clear water, where you can dive or rent a small wooden boat for a day’s enjoyment.
Banggai Island, with many wooden houses from the Dutch colonial period 400-500 years ago, proving its former prosperity.
Local residents have many conveniences, but communication with tourists requires translation software.
✈ Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport (Luwuk)
Boats are needed between the small islands.
