OOTD: Exploring Surabaya Zoo and Meeting the Komodo Dragons Up Close

Before heading back, I have some free time to explore the Surabaya Zoo and catch a glimpse of the legendary Komodo dragons! These ancient creatures, often referred to as living relics from the dinosaur era, are the world’s largest lizards. Despite their somewhat comical appearance, they are surprisingly agile, capable of running at high speeds, diving with grace, and even climbing trees with ease.

The Surabaya Zoo may be compact, but it’s meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. You can sense the contentment of the animals, which adds to the overall charm of the place.
