The Daintree Rainforest is truly a slice of paradise on Earth! 🌟
Lying quietly in the gentle stream and drifting for a while, you feel as if life itself has been purified. The Back Country Bliss project was the most meaningful experience I had in Cairns! The water flow varies, with some thrilling sections that make the journey incredibly exciting.

You can snorkel to see an array of colorful fish, and the shallow waters, combined with the constant presence of staff, ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Even if you can’t swim, you can stay on the board without getting into the water, making it accessible for everyone. 🤿

📍We opted for the 2-hour River Drift Snorkelling adventure.
It costs $139 for adults and $110 for children, with full-day options also available.
📍You can choose to drive yourself to Port Douglas to meet up,
or you can opt for a convenient pick-up service from Cairns city center for $70 per person, though this is only available for the morning sessions.

📍There are three sessions to choose from: 9am, 9:15am, and 2pm.
We chose the 9:00am session, which gave us a perfect start to the day.
📍Oasis will pick you up at your hotel at 7am,
and after arriving in Port Douglas, Back Country Bliss’s vehicle will take you deeper into the lush rainforest. 🌴
They will drop you back at your hotel by 2pm, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.

📍The drivers are all incredibly friendly and helpful.
The driver who took us there even brought bananas for us,
and the driver who brought us back made sure to stop at scenic spots for memorable photos.
💥When entering the rainforest, the staff advised against bringing phones, as they would take photos for us.

📷 However, many people still brought theirs. We kind of regret not having ours, as we could have captured more stunning moments, but this also allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty around us.
I will definitely go back!! This is my paradise on Earth!!!
