The ideal time to visit is from April to October, during the dry season. Temperatures stay above 25°C, and the tropical water remains warm, never dropping below 20°C.
On your first day, consider arriving on a morning flight, allowing you to visit a crocodile farm or explore the aquarium (or even enjoy an aquarium dinner) in the afternoon.
For the last day, it’s best to choose a flight after 6 pm, giving you more time for activities.
The four-star hotels, such as the Pacific Hotel Cairns or similar, are usually within walking distance to the pier, making it convenient to explore.
