Finally, I’ve sorted out the expenses for our one-week free-and-easy trip to New Zealand (Nov 30 – Dec 6). The total cost for both of us, including a day in Bali, came to 26,400.5 RMB. We opted out of renting a car and relied entirely on public transportation and walking 🚶‍➡️.

We spent two days in Auckland and three days in Queenstown. Our initial budget was 25,000 RMB, so we went a bit over. Despite not renting a car and staying in average hotels, we didn’t skimp on food, drinks, or activities. Personally, I think it’s still within a reasonable range [Cute R]. We had an amazing time, and Queenstown is truly breathtaking. I’m definitely planning to go back in the future.
