The South Island of New Zealand is a miniature version of Xinjiang, boasting countless snow-capped mountains, glaciers, lakes, rainforests, and highlands. Meanwhile, the North Island resembles a larger Switzerland, with endless green pastures in the mountains, geothermal wonders, and four majestic snow-capped peaks. The key difference is that New Zealand is surrounded by the sea, while Xinjiang and Switzerland are landlocked.

I spent about half a month in New Zealand, and every day felt like living in a fairy tale! I’m still sifting through a mountain of photos and memories, but I can’t wait to share some highlights and a general itinerary guide with you

Tips:
1. Winter is the peak tourist season in New Zealand, so it’s highly recommended to book your accommodation and car rental services well in advance to avoid any last-minute hassles.
2. Once your travel dates are set, promptly arrange your itinerary to secure the best options for booking rooms, especially in popular destinations like Queenstown where many attractions require advance ticket booking to ensure you don’t miss out due to full capacity.

3. Booking flights two to three months in advance can also help you snag better deals, saving you money for more adventures.
4. Arrowtown is most enchanting in autumn when the golden leaves create a breathtaking scene; there’s no need to visit during other seasons.
5. Make sure to apply for your visa as early as possible, ideally 2 to 3 months before your trip, to avoid any unexpected delays.
