🌟 Experience Process [Disappointment]
1. Start by checking in at the store in downtown Queenstown, where you’ll receive safety instructions before heading to the skydiving base (parking is available).
2. At the base, gear up, do some pre-jump exercises, take photos, and wait for the plane.
3. A helicopter flight 🚁 typically seats about 9 people (excluding instructors).

The 15,000 ft jump is incredibly high, and it’s common to experience ear ringing at certain altitudes.
4. Before the jump, the instructor will provide oxygen. There’s almost no transition time between getting ready and jumping. When the altitude is reached, the instructor opens the door, and you’re off!
5. During the free fall, you might feel some discomfort, such as difficulty opening your eyes and breathing (this varies from person to person).
6. At 5,000 feet, the parachute will open, and you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Some instructors may even let you try controlling the parachute (feel free to ask).
Summary: This is truly an unforgettable and irreplaceable life experience ✔️
🪂 Alternative Recommendations [Disappointment] [Shy]
– For those who prefer a scenic experience, paragliding is a great option (take the gondola directly to the store).
– If you crave more adrenaline, head to Nevis for the swing, bungee, or launch (with pick-up and drop-off services available).
⚠️ Precautions
① Do not jump if you have a cold and nasal congestion (it’s difficult to breathe through the nose during free fall!).
② For skydiving from October to April, book morning slots as the wind tends to be stronger in the afternoon, leading to potential cancellations.
③ After exiting the cabin, the wind is very strong, which can cause facial and ear pain.
Once you’re ready, give your nose a gentle pinch to alleviate any ear pressure.
④ Keep an eye out for the camera and manage your expressions. The GoPro is attached to the instructor’s left hand, and they will guide you with cues during the filming.
⑤ Don’t hesitate to make requests! Be bold and speak up—your experience should be exactly what you want it to be. [Disappointment]
