Discover the Most Peaceful Activity in Queenstown for Relaxation
😢 I was too scared to skydive, but now I’m filled with regret.
Skydiving in New Zealand from 15,000 feet—499 NZD (about RMB 2050)
The price is quite a steal compared to other countries.
When our friend took the leap, a plane happened to fly by and captured that breathtaking moment. It was absolutely stunning; personally, I think it’s well worth every penny.

Paragliding, on the other hand, is a more serene experience without the thrill of weightlessness.
⌚️ Duration: about 7-10 minutes—320 NZD (about RMB 1330)
For paragliding in Queenstown, you must take the gondola up (the gondola ride costs an additional 64 NZD, but you can still enjoy a round trip after landing).

📷 Photos cost 80 NZD, and most girls usually want them (but honestly, the quality isn’t great; it’s recommended to communicate in advance and ask for more shots so you have plenty of options later).
In the air, the instructor will ask if you want some excitement. I tried it once, and it was pretty exhilarating 👍🏻 Otherwise, it’s always very peaceful, which can feel a bit underwhelming (you can also communicate in advance, like asking to fly more over the lake).

💰 The total cost is about RMB 2000 per person.

Skydiving does sound thrilling, but paragliding seems more my style since I prefer a calmer experience. Have you tried both? I’m curious about the views during paragliding since they sounded peaceful yet impressive!
Absolutely! Both activities are amazing in their own ways. I’ve tried both skydiving and paragliding, and paragliding definitely offers a more serene experience with breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. You’re sure to love it if you prefer something calm yet awe-inspiring. Thanks for sharing—enjoy your flight!
