Preparation before departure
[One] Waterproof jacket and pants, quick-dry clothes, and warm layers like fleece or down clothing. Don’t forget gloves, as the weather can be unpredictable with significant temperature changes.

[Two] Sturdy hiking shoes are essential, as much of the trail consists of volcanic gravel, which can be loose and challenging to navigate.
[Three] Sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a mask are must-haves to protect yourself from the strong UV rays.
[Four] Always check the weather conditions before setting out.

It’s not recommended to attempt the hike during rainy or snowy weather for safety reasons.
[Five] Bring plenty of water and dry food. At least 1 liter of water, along with snacks like bread, fruits, and chocolate, will keep you energized. Remember to take all your trash with you to preserve the pristine environment.

[Six] Arrange shuttle transportation in advance. Many hostels provide this service, though if you have a car, you can drive yourself.
