⃣ Buenos Aires – I touched on this in my previous post, so I’ll keep it brief and move on to the next exciting destination.

⃣ Iguazu Falls – Before my visit, I was skeptical. After all, I’ve seen countless waterfalls. What could be so special about this one? But after experiencing it firsthand, I can confidently say: it’s absolutely worth it! The sheer scale and beauty of Iguazu Falls are truly unique and breathtaking. Just remember to bring plenty of sealed bags and an extra set of clothes, or you might end up shivering [crying emoji].

Staying overnight in Iguazu (on the Argentine side) is highly recommended to fully absorb the experience without feeling rushed or exhausted.

⃣ Mendoza – This place left me a bit puzzled. Renowned for its wine production, it even boasts a national wine museum. However, as a non-drinker, I found myself in a bit of an awkward position—like visiting Maotai Town without sipping a drop. If you do enjoy a good glass of wine, Mendoza is a paradise, with vineyards and cellars at every turn. You could spend a month here and never run out of new wines to try.

⃣ Patagonia – A must-visit for nature lovers, Patagonia offers stunning mountain landscapes and a wealth of well-organized day and multi-day tours. The region’s natural beauty is simply awe-inspiring, making it a perfect destination for hikers and adventurers.

⃣ Ushuaia – Often referred to as the “End of the World,” Ushuaia is a great stop if you’re planning a trip to Antarctica. The prison museum has a haunting, apocalyptic vibe that adds to the sense of being at the edge of the world. In the summer, Tierra del Fuego National Park can feel a bit underwhelming, so it might be better to head straight to Antarctica for a more thrilling experience.

⃣ Jujuy – If you haven’t yet explored Chile, Bolivia, or Mexico, Jujuy is a must-see. The landscape, with cacti covering the mountains and the striking Danxia landforms, is truly spectacular. However, if you’ve already visited these other destinations, you might find Jujuy a bit redundant.

⃣ Salta – Unfortunately, Salta was a bit of a letdown, especially the Train to the Clouds. It felt somewhat similar to taking a train through Zhangye, Gansu, China, during the winter—beautiful but not quite as unique as I had hoped.

⃣ Moreno Glacier – If you’ve been to Antarctica, you might not need to make a special trip here. The glaciers in Antarctica are so numerous and impressive that you’ll have already seen some of the most stunning ice formations on the planet.
