Today, a friend casually brought up some dining spots in Ushuaia, and I couldn’t help but rave about this particular restaurant. You can easily locate it on Google Maps by searching for La Casa de Los Mariscos—it’s right on the main street and hard to miss.
This place offers an excellent value for your money, with a wider variety of dishes compared to The Old Captain. One of the best parts is that you don’t have to do the peeling yourself, which is a huge plus. Plus, The Old Captain has hiked their prices quite a bit recently. I highly recommend giving this one a try; the king crab soup with cheese slices is absolutely divine 🦀
👯👯👯👯♂️👯♂️ Be prepared for a bit of a wait, as the queue can get pretty long. If you’re planning to visit, I suggest heading there early, ideally in the first wave. The turnover is fairly quick, so even if you’re not ravenous, the wait is definitely worth it.
