Misled by Xiaohongshu: The Truth About Iguazu Falls Travel Tips
How can there be so many posts recommending a day trip!!! 🥵 If it weren’t for the round-trip ticket, I would have stayed a few more days!!!
The town of Iguazu is absolutely stunning, with lush, vibrant greenery everywhere. I told my friend I’m seriously considering buying a house here or in Colonia, Uruguay 📸😊

You can easily spend two or three days here, soaking up the beauty and tranquility 💋💋

The water volume at the falls on the Argentine side is incredibly impressive. For foreigners, the entrance fee is 45,000 pesos (about 280 RMB), while locals pay 15,000 pesos.
From the airport to the scenic area, you can take the RIO bus, which costs 6,000 pesos. They will make you get off halfway, and you need to take your receipt to the other side of the road to wait for another bus to the scenic area.

Without internet and no knowledge of Spanish, I was fortunate enough to meet a kind person who helped me 😊
The scenic area is breathtaking, perfect for a picnic with some delicious food and enjoying the fresh air all day long 🤔🎉
Take the little train to the last stop to see the Devil’s Throat (check the train schedule in picture 1️⃣4️⃣).

It was cloudy today, so the train was running, but no rainbow. Still, it was an awe-inspiring experience (especially for those seeing the waterfall for the first time).
I only saw the boat ride to the falls on the way back, and it’s said to be super fun. I’ll definitely try it next time. The price is in picture 1️⃣6️⃣ 👍
From the Devil’s Throat, you can see the Brazilian 🇧🇷 station across, and there are also helicopters above, offering a bird’s-eye view of the falls.

To get back to downtown from the scenic area, the bus costs 6,000 pesos, and from the downtown bus station to the airport, it’s another 6,000 pesos. Buses leave on the hour, so buy your ticket in advance and hop on 🚌

If you find the public transportation a bit cumbersome, you can also hire a car. It’s said to cost around 120 USD for a round trip to various points, including a visit to Brazil.
I can’t wait to come back again 😊😊😊😊
