For all those who cherish “Happy Together,” Iguazu is more than just a massive waterfall; it’s an emotion. I first watched “Happy Together” about a decade ago. It was my introduction to Wong Kar-wai and also the first film with a 🌈 theme that I had ever seen. In the years that followed, every time I thought of this movie, I thought of Iguazu, and the waterfall that should have been a shared experience for two people.

Inspired by this film, I embarked on a journey around the globe, eventually leading me to South America. Over the years, I came to understand Ho Po-wing, and even saw parts of myself in him. Standing under the immense waterfall, I felt a deep connection to Lai Yiu-fai. Yet, I realized that some things cannot truly start over.
