I’ve been to Iguazu twice, and if you only visit the Brazilian side, two days are more than enough! You’ll even have a bit of extra time [sly smile R]

🌟Day 1: Iguazu Falls + Bird Park + Local Churrascaria ➡️ In the morning, you can start by visiting the Bird Park. It’s just a two-minute walk from there to the falls. Visit the falls first, then go for the boat ride under the falls. Head back to the hotel for a shower, and in the evening, enjoy a delicious meal at the famous Rafain Churrascaria Show, complete with a performance. Perfect!

🌟Day 2: Itaipu Dam + Duty-Free Shop + Triple Border ➡️ In the morning, visit the Itaipu Dam. If you need, you can also visit the duty-free shop in the afternoon (personally, I don’t think the items are very cheap or varied). Around 3-4 PM, head to the Triple Border to watch the sunset, have dinner, and see a show. Another perfect day!

🌟Iguazu Falls (O Parque Nacional do Iguaçu)

This place is truly breathtaking every time I visit. It’s beautiful on sunny days, and it has a strong apocalyptic beauty on cloudy days, haha. The ticket price is 100 BRL. There are staff at the entrance to guide you on how to buy tickets from the machine or window. You can also buy the Macuco Safari boat ride ticket directly at the entrance, which costs 386 BRL per person. It’s a bit expensive, but highly recommended (see the previous video for the real experience)!

Upon entering, take the bus. The first stop is the boat ride under the falls. I suggest not getting off here because you will get completely soaked! Continue to the second stop, where you can get off and walk around the falls. It takes about an hour to finish the tour. Then, go to the third stop and take the bus back to the first stop for the boat ride.

At the boat ride area, you can buy raincoats and rent a locker for 10 BRL to store your bags. There are changing rooms, so bring a change of clothes. Whether you wear a raincoat or not doesn’t make much difference, lol.

🌟Bird Park (O Parque das Aves)

This park is right next to Iguazu, so it’s usually visited together. The ticket is 80 BRL, which isn’t cheap, but you can finish the tour in about an hour. Of course, seeing all the large parrots of Brazil is an experience in itself!

🌟Itaipu Dam (ITAIPU BINACIONAL)

As the world’s second-largest hydroelectric dam, it’s definitely worth a visit. I chose the most basic ticket, Itaipu Panorâmica, which costs 58 BRL. It’s a bus tour with a guide who speaks Portuguese and English, telling stories about the dam. The bus stops at three points for sightseeing and photos. The tour lasts about an hour. If you want a more in-depth visit, you can choose Itaipu Especial, which costs 165 BRL and allows you to enter the interior of the dam.

🌟Triple Border (Marco das Três Fronteiras)

I absolutely adore this place! For just 55 BRL, you get a ticket to an unforgettable experience. While the tour itself might only take about ten minutes, the symbolic significance far outweighs the brevity of the visit. Every evening, you can witness a breathtaking sunset, savor a refreshing drink at the nearby restaurant, and bask in the gentle breeze.

The real magic begins around 7 PM with a captivating performance that adds to the serene atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the moment!
