Sea lions and vibrant graffiti are the crown jewels of Valparaiso. This enchanting city is cradled by both mountains and the sea, with houses cascading down the slopes, each one a canvas painted in a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns, creating a breathtakingly vivid landscape.
Wandering through the bohemian-style streets, you’ll be captivated by the stunning sea views, and strolling along the narrow, winding paths is an incredibly relaxing and delightful experience!

However, the coastal breeze can be quite brisk, so don’t forget to bring a jacket to stay warm.
📍Valparaiso: I visited this charming city during a business trip to Chile, staying in Santiago, which is just a 2-hour drive away, making it a convenient and close escape.
📍Restaurante Cafe Vinilo: You can easily navigate to this address to reach this quaint town.

There’s parking right across from the entrance, though the view isn’t spectacular; we just happened to need a meal! If you’re looking for a place with a great view, head over to Restaurante Fauna, a charming cafe that offers a panoramic vista.
📍Mirador lobos: Here, you can observe the sea lions basking lazily in the sun, and once they’ve had their fill of warmth, they dive into the water to forage.

Follow the path down to the beach, and if you arrive early enough, you should be able to catch a glimpse of these fascinating creatures.
