Easter Island (Rapa Nui) can generally be arranged for a 4-day 3-night or 3-day 2-night trip. This time, the 3-day 2-night itinerary was chosen.

DAY1:
✈ Arrival – Fly to Mataveri International Airport and check into a homestay (both homestays and hotels will arrange pick-up from the airport)
🏝 Ahu Tahai – Visit the moai statues by the sea and enjoy the sunset
🏛 Anthropological Museum – Learn about the history, culture, and moai carving techniques of Easter Island
🌅 Ahu Akahanga – Here, there are fallen moai statues, which allow for a deeper understanding of the rise and fall of the island’s civilization
🍽 Dinner – Find a place on the main street, you can check ratings on Google Maps
DAY2:
🌄 Early morning: Sunrise at Ahu Tongariki – The most spectacular group of moai statues on Easter Island, with 15 giant moai welcoming the sunrise.

🏔 Rano Raraku Volcano (Quarry) – The “carving factory” of the moai, almost all the moai on the island were carved here, with many unfinished statues still remaining on the slopes of the volcano
🌊 Anakena Beach – A combination of white sand beach and moai statues, suitable for swimming and relaxation; so, don’t forget to bring your swimsuit
🏕 Cave exploration: Ana Kakenga (Cave of Two Windows)
🍹 Dinner & watch traditional dance
DAY3:
🌋 Rano Kau Volcano – Overlook the large volcanic crater lake
🏛 Orongo Ceremonial Village – Once the site of the “Birdman Culture” ceremony, learn about the unique competitive ceremonies of Easter Island

✅ Climate: Warm all year round, it is recommended to wear light clothing, bring sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable hiking shoes, as well as rain gear!

✅ Transportation: You can rent a car, cycle, or choose a local guide for tours;
It is suggested to join a full-day tour to visit all the attractions that require a guide; for the rest of the smaller sites, you can go on your own
