As the title suggests!
Despite the long journey (a 5-hour flight from Santiago),
the slow internet on the island (virtually no signal at scenic spots, and the hotel’s Wi-Fi is just passable; social media posts and text chats are manageable, but streaming videos will be a struggle),
and the somewhat challenging accommodation and dining conditions (the fresh juices on the island are delightful, but the nighttime roasted meat.

.. well, let’s just say it’s an acquired taste),
the breathtaking scenery on the island is truly unforgettable!

Pro tip: The island is incredibly windy! Be sure to pack windproof and sun protection gear! ❗
Additional note: Our local guide, an island native, was rather aloof and seemed to carry an air of arrogance. He greeted us with a stern face when handing out flower garlands and remained indifferent throughout our interactions.

Even when giving us parting gifts, his demeanor was unwaveringly serious. Fortunately, we had a friendly Chinese tour leader and a local driver, so we didn’t have to interact with him much. Otherwise, it would have been quite a letdown [Disappointed R]. Choosing the right local guide is crucial! ❗

On a brighter note, the other island residents we encountered were warm and welcoming.
In summary, this is a fantastic island with stunning scenery, definitely worth a visit! [Party R]
