Just back from Malaysia❗ I’m really grateful😭
If you go to Malaysia without doing enough preparation, you will regret it! I’ve stepped into all the pitfalls. Follow my guide and easily enjoy Malaysia✌🏻
🙋♀Summarized some hard-learned lessons, suggest those planning to travel to Malaysia to save this to avoid these pitfalls

Preparation before entry
1⃣ Passport (must have): Valid for more than 6 months, no damage, new passports are also allowed for entry
2⃣ MDAC Entry Card (must have): Can be filled out within 3 days before entry, detailed instructions in Chinese at the end of the images!

3⃣ Hotel itinerary, return flight ticket: Electronic versions are fine (Note: Malaysia does not check return tickets upon entry, but domestic departure will)
4⃣ SIM card: Buy after entry or activate international roaming
5⃣ Power adapter: Buy UK standard
6⃣ Cash: Around 500, just in case
7⃣ VISA card, UnionPay card: Remember to lock the card on the app before and after use to prevent fraud

🌈 Payment:
🔸 Suggest using Alipay, VISA card (remember to lock the card after use to prevent fraud), cash
🔸 Alipay can be used in most malls and large stores in Malaysia, and the exchange rate is quite favorable
🔸 For cash, you can withdraw at the airport upon arrival, as many banks in China cannot exchange, bring some cash (CNY) with you as a backup
🔸 You can also bring UnionPay, but some places that display the UnionPay logo may not accept it, so check if the store supports it

⚠ Another small reminder ~ AirAsia blankets are charged, so carry a thick jacket with you when you depart, you can use it to cover up if it gets cold!

If you think you might get hungry, you can bring your own food and drinks, of course, you can also buy them on the ✈, about 10-20 MYR for a sandwich, which is okay. Only cash or card payment is accepted!
Recommend a simplified version of the Malaysian e-visa application tutorial, just upload your passport!

No need for verification, the PDF is more convenient, and there’s no need to fill out a lot of information, no three-day filling limit (details at the end of the images) WeChat Pay: Not recommended, because WeChat Pay first converts RMB to USD, then uses USD to convert to MYR, which incurs an additional USD conversion fee
