Lazy Traveler’s 3-Day Adventure: Exploring Nha Trang’s Hidden Gems
Transferred from Macau and flew to Nha Trang, where the adventure began with a feast for the senses.

Day 1: We started our culinary journey with a hearty bowl of beef noodle soup, followed by some sizzling tile-grilled meat, and an array of unlimited fruits that were as colorful as they were delicious.

Day 2: The day kicked off with a visit to a popular Vietnamese chain brand coffee shop, where we sipped on aromatic brews. Next, we explored the historic Po Nagar Cham Towers, snapping plenty of tourist photos 📷. A stroll through the local market near the scenic area led us to a sweet discovery: a watermelon for just 2 RMB 🍉, which was incredibly juicy and sweet.

In the evening, we indulged in a sumptuous seafood feast, costing 390 RMB for two. Our table was laden with stir-fried meat crabs, half a lobster served as sashimi, the other half cooked in a comforting porridge, stir-fried water spinach, and ginger-flavored razor clams.

Day 3: As had become our daily ritual, we started the day with a steaming bowl of Vietnamese noodles. My sister and I then treated ourselves to a relaxing spa session, followed by a delightful avocado ice cream. We made a stop at the famous Nha Trang Train Coffee ☕️, and to our delight, a train rumbled by shortly after we sat down.

It was a perfect moment to capture with our cameras, and we couldn’t help but laugh as we snapped pictures of each other. Afterward, we strolled along the seaside, capturing more beautiful moments. Back at the hotel, we relaxed and, in the evening, enjoyed another lavish Vietnamese meal. The next day, we savored more of that creamy avocado ice cream.

With the perfect holiday balance running low, it was time to head back home and return to the daily grind.

You must try the baguettes, with the cheapest ones priced at 20,000 VND. Be sure to check the prices to avoid being overcharged.

Don’t miss out on the Vietnamese noodles, which range from 35,000 to 60,000 VND depending on the location. The 35,000 VND one, located near the Nha Trang Train Coffee, was the best, offering generous portions and incredible flavors.
The avocado ice cream is a must-try, priced at 40,000 VND, or 50,000 VND if you add durian. Another highlight was the tile-grilled meat at La Vela, owned by a Korean who generously offers homemade yogurt after every meal. I visited this place twice and highly recommend it.
I’ll be editing a vlog of our trip when I find some free time. When traveling to an unfamiliar place, be sure to check out the travel guides on Little Red Book for valuable tips and recommendations.
