๐ฆ๐ท Ushuaia Travel Guide: 5 Days 4 Nights Itinerary for Adventure Seekers Part 2
Continuing from the previous post.

๐ข For our sea adventure, we chose this company (see picture 2). We didnโt bother comparing prices with others. As soon as we stepped in, the front desk staff greeted us with enthusiasm, ready to explain and offer consultations (though the price ๐ฐ was a bit steep).
โซ๏ธ The vessel is a cozy, small boat ๐ฅ๏ธ, accommodating up to 26 people.

This size allows for a more intimate experience, getting you up close to the islands for fantastic snapshots of sea lions ๐ฆญ, seagulls, and more.
โซ๏ธ On the day of the trip, our guide was incredibly enthusiastic and professional, eager to share insights about other must-see attractions and suggest additional places to explore.

โซ๏ธ There are only two departure times for the sea excursions: 10 am and 3 pm. Itโs highly recommended to book the morning slot for the best experience.

โ ๏ธ Penguins ๐ง can only be spotted during spring and summer; they migrate north in autumn and winter.
โ ๏ธ Currently, only one travel agency (see picture 7) offers tours to see penguins, but itโs in a more remote area, even further than the Faro lighthouse. The journey involves a bus ride followed by a boat trip. (Itโs a different species of penguin ๐ง)

๐ Car rental: We rented a car for three days. โ ๏ธ Renting in the city is more budget-friendly than at the airport, but city rental offices have limited hours on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays. Plan accordingly. (You can rent in the city and return the car at the airport.)
๐ ๐ฐ Approximately 50 USD/day. (Avis company)

๐๏ธ In the city, San Martin is the main street, bustling with shops and restaurants.
๐ง Penguin Wall (๐ find Cafe Xpresso)
โ๏ธ Ushuaia Fin Del Mundo (a small sign that says “End of the World”)
๐๏ธ Tierra del Fuego National Park
๐ซ 12,000 pesos per person (cash or card accepted)
๐ฎ The southernmost post office is a picturesque spot for photos, though itโs not open for business.

๐ Transportation: We drove ourselves ๐ There are three ways to get there:
๐ Join a tour (many travel agencies at the port offer these)
๐ If traveling in a group, consider renting a car and driving in yourself; just buy the entrance ticket.
๐ Hire a taxi, and inquire about the cost for a 3-hour tour (approximately 110-120 USD/3 hours); some charge hourly, while others offer a flat rate for 3 hours.

The word count is up, and the detailed itinerary will be in another post (we did see whales ๐ณ).
