🎭 Must-See Travel Safety: Attacked in Buenos Aires, Argentina – Shocking Incident Revealed

I was absolutely fuming. After our flight landed in Buenos Aires at noon, we checked into our hotel and eagerly took my parents for a stroll around the city. As we were walking along the side track next to the Colón Theatre, I suddenly saw something black whiz past us. Both my father and I caught a glimpse of the shadow.

Since the path was paved with tiles, we continued walking a bit further but found nothing. I initially thought it was just bird droppings. However, after a few more steps, my mother noticed that someone had splashed paint on my back. We turned around and discovered that all three of us had been hit: my father’s shirt and backpack, my mother’s pants and backpack, all smeared with this foul-smelling, dark pink paint.

Glancing back, we saw a person about ten meters away, holding some paper and offering to help us clean up. He seemed to have been splashed as well, but since we didn’t understand the language, we ignored him. The paint couldn’t have come from above because nothing was on our heads; it must have come from behind.

Thankfully, the security guard at the Colón Theatre let us use the restroom to clean up. We did a quick cleanup, but the paint was still very noticeable! Is the safety here really that bad? Back at the hotel, we reviewed what happened and speculated it might have been a hate attack by someone on a motorcycle, or perhaps the person behind us attacked us to sell us cleaning supplies.

After some research, we found out it was even more bizarre than we thought. This is actually a common scam. If we had let the person behind us help us clean our clothes, he would have taken our belongings while we weren’t paying attention! Luckily, we didn’t fall for the trap! This experience has made me so wary of people.
