Argentina Itinerary: Ultimate 4th Stop South America Travel Guide

Argentina is the country farthest from China, and in my opinion, it is also the South American country with the richest tourism resources. It has a superior geographical environment, a mild climate, and abundant products, especially known for its meat and wine. Every tourist destination even has its own local specialty foods, including beef, mutton, and seafood.

I recommend making Argentina a priority when traveling to South America. The people there are naturally more laid-back, and their tourism promotion is not as strong as other countries, but Argentina can be considered the best tourist destination in South America.
According to the country highlights by LP, you can take a loop: Buenos Aires – Iguazu – Cordoba (nearby is the wine region of Mendoza) – Bariloche (lake area, skiing or hiking) – El Calafate (Perito Moreno Glacier) – Ushuaia – Puerto Madryn (whale watching, sea lions, penguins at Valdes Peninsula).

This entire loop would take at least a month, so those with ample time should consider it.
If you don’t have that much time, then these three places are a must-visit:
● Iguazu Falls
● Perito Moreno Glacier
● Valdes Peninsula Nature Reserve
Most friends will likely include Iguazu Falls and Perito Moreno Glacier in their plans, but I believe the Valdes Peninsula Nature Reserve is a gem that friends visiting Argentina should not miss, especially since June to mid-December is the breeding season for right whales, and you are sure to see whales.
