Best Places to Buy and Recharge the Andalusian Transport Card Online

I scoured Xiaohongshu for tutorials on how to purchase the Andalusia transport card in Cordoba, but all I found were guides for Seville, Granada, and other cities. There was no information specifically for Cordoba. So, I took it upon myself to figure it out and decided to share my findings with you all:

1️⃣ Start by opening Google and typing “consorcio transporte” followed by the name of the city you are in.
2️⃣ Look for the link with the green car icon. For example, for Cordoba, it’s www.ctco.es, and for Seville, it’s www.ctas.es. Each city will have a similar but unique website.
3️⃣ Navigate to the “puntos de venta” section, which means “sale points.

” Find the map icon and use the map to locate the nearest point to your location. The websites can vary slightly depending on the region, so the example shown is for Cordoba.

It’s highly recommended to show the shop owner a picture of the card. When I showed the website to the shop owner, she was a bit confused. Eventually, we noticed a sign at the door that read “venta y recarga de tarjetas aquí,” meaning “card sales and recharges here,” and that cleared up the confusion.

The card itself costs 1.5 euros, and the minimum first top-up is 5 euros. The store where I bought the card only accepts cash, so make sure to have some on hand.
