Discover South American Little Switzerland: 3rd Day Highlights of Bariloche’s 7 Lakes Tour

Day 3️⃣
Today, we’re heading back to Buenos Aires, but our day is packed with adventures in Bariloche. In the morning, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through the charming town, then hop on the Teleferico Cerro Otto, a quaint red cable car that whisks you up a hill. From the top, you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the entire town and the stunning Lago Nahuel Huapi. The town is a chocolate lover’s paradise, brimming with delightful shops offering an array of sweet treats.

In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a scenic drive along Route 77, which winds near the picturesque Llao Llao. This enchanting spot is nestled between two serene lakes, providing a feast for the eyes. There’s also a dock below the hotel where you can embark on lake tours, though due to our tight schedule, we had to skip the boating experience this time.

🟠TIPS:
1️⃣ For the cable car, you have the option to drive there and buy tickets on arrival, or you can purchase a combined bus + cable car ticket in town. One ticket office is conveniently located opposite the Rapanui chocolate shop, while another is situated on the street near the city activity center, not by the lake.

2️⃣ At the summit, there’s a popular spot for snapping photos of the lake, but it can get quite crowded. For a more secluded view, take a short walk down a dirt path that leads up the mountain. You’ll find equally stunning vistas without the long queues.

3️⃣ On Route 77, just across from Llao Llao, there’s a viewpoint known as Punto Panorámico – Circuito Chico. This is a prime location for capturing the beauty of Llao Llao, especially during sunset when the golden light dances on the lake, creating a truly magical scene.
