Explore Bariloche: Ultimate Travel Guide for Transportation & Cozy Accommodation Tips
Finally, the holiday has arrived! I’ve been eagerly planning a trip to Bariloche for a few days now. This enchanting place is often referred to as the “Little Switzerland of South America” and the “Western Sichuan of Argentina,” and it’s easy to see why with its breathtaking landscapes. Let me share my firsthand experiences with transportation and accommodation 🎒

1⃣ For flying from Buenos Aires to Bariloche, FlyBondi is the most budget-friendly option. The round-trip ticket on their official website usually costs around 600+ RMB per person. However, the FlyBondi website can be quite temperamental, and after a long wait, I still couldn’t complete my booking. In the end, I opted for Ctrip, where the tickets cost 724 RMB. It was a bit pricier, but at least it guaranteed a smooth departure.

⚠️ Notes:
– FlyBondi’s tickets do not include checked baggage. Each passenger is allowed only one backpack. If you need to check luggage, remember to purchase it in advance on their official website; the prices are reasonable.
– You can check in online two days before your flight by entering a simple code and your last name.

The system will randomly assign you a free seat. For a more comfortable experience, you can pay a little extra to select your preferred seat. Prices range from 7,000 to 16,000 pesos, with seats closer to the front being more expensive. Alternatively, you can check in directly at the airport if you prefer.

2⃣ For accommodation, Airbnb offers some fantastic options. This time, I stayed in a charming seaside apartment with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a spacious living room. The total cost for 3 nights was around 3,500 RMB, making it an incredibly cost-effective choice when shared with friends!

🏠 Pros:
– The apartment’s location is simply perfect, with a beautiful beach right downstairs. Just a few steps away, you can enjoy the serene and picturesque lakeside. Lying on the sofa in the living room and watching the reflections on the lake is incredibly soothing.
🚶♂ Small regret:
– The apartment is a bit far from the town center, about a 15-20 minute walk. Fortunately, Uber is always available, and the fares are quite reasonable, making it easy to get around.

💡 Small suggestion:
– If you prefer convenience, consider staying in the town center, where there are more hotel options. (p7, the area marked with a red line)
– Don’t forget to bring your own toiletries! It’s advisable to pack toothbrushes and toothpaste. The toothbrush I bought in the town was of poor quality, and it hurt my gums every day, making me question life.
