Explore Cordoba’s Flower Alley & Courtyard Festival in May: A Spring Must-See 🪻
Don’t let anyone tell you that the Flower Alley is just a small, insignificant lane—trust me, it’s an absolute must-see! The photos you can capture here are truly breathtaking, and at the end of the alley, you’ll find a stunning mosque that exudes Southern European charm. This enchanting alley in Cordoba is a year-round delight, and you won’t want to miss it!
🎨 The vibrant blue, white, and magenta hues that dominate southern Spain during spring create a unique and captivating atmosphere.
📅 If you’re eager to see the entire town adorned with adorable potted plants, plan your visit between May 2nd and 12th, 2025. Even if you arrive in late April or early to mid-May, you’ll still catch the magic. The decorations start to go up before the Courtyard Festival, so we were lucky enough to witness the beauty on April 29th last year!
🪻 During the Courtyard Festival in Cordoba, the streets and alleys transform into a tapestry of colors, with each small balcony and courtyard showcasing exclusive, colorful flower pots. This annual event is a feast for the eyes and a true celebration of local culture.
⌚️ During the festival, you can explore authentic, beautiful Spanish courtyards without an appointment from 11:00-14:00 and 18:00-22:00. It’s a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the local charm and take in the sights.
📷 The main photo spot is Calle de Los Flores (Flower Alley), a globally famous location where P2 was taken. This picturesque alley is adorned with cute potted plants throughout the year, so even if you miss the Courtyard Festival, you’ll still find plenty of photo opportunities.
