Explore Lugu Lake & Bariloche: Top 5 Must-Visit Spots in Argentina π¦π·
Checked the flight recordsβοΈ and it’s indeed my 5th time coming to Bariloche. Especially after leaving Argentina for 2 years, I came back without hesitation.
πThis time, I specifically cycled the Circuito Chico, which is 64km from the city center. You can also rent a bike at the 18km entrance, and cycling the entire circuit only requires 20+km.

πThe scenery is beyond words, with mountains and lakes intertwined, really resembling Lugu Lake, but the lake shape is more winding, and the surrounding facilities and hotels are more natural.
πFor restaurants, I highly recommend cerveceria Patagonia (P2), which is an entire lakeside estate. The restaurant needs to be booked in advance, and there are also self-camping areas where you can bring your own food.

In the city, the popular Boliche de Alberto for grilled meat is recommended, although it often has long queues. Additionally, Ciervo venison and Trucha cold-water river trout are specialties of Patagonia and are worth trying.
πFor hotels, Bariloche has one of Argentina’s top hotels, llaollao, located within the Circuito Chico.

I stayed there once during the pandemic, and both the view and the food were top-notch. I also highly recommend the Marriott TRIBUTE PORTFOLIO, which is in a private mountain estate. I’ve stayed there twice, and it was stunning. If staying in the city, I chose the Sheraton this time, which also offers a front-row view of the lake.

You can gaze at the lake from morning until 10 PM (see photo 7). For a more budget-friendly option, Hampton by Hilton is very conveniently located.
πIn the city, see photos 8/9, Bariloche is not small, and there are many high-rated restaurants in the city. The night scene is filled with various chocolates.

Actually, I think the ice cream in Bariloche is the best. Any old chocolate shop will have delicious ice cream…
