**Day 1️⃣:**
Start your day by visiting the penguin colonies and observing sea lions in their natural habitat. The iconic lighthouse, known as “The Lighthouse at the End of the World,” can be admired from a distance. If Antarctica is not on your itinerary, this island is a fantastic alternative to see penguins and sea lions up close. However, if you’re heading to Antarctica, you might want to skip this, as the abundance of penguins there could make it less exciting.

In the afternoon, venture into Tierra del Fuego National Park. Tickets are available at the visitor center or bus terminal, with a minibus round trip costing 18,000 pesos. The entrance fee is 120,000 pesos, and cars are allowed with stops at three scenic points. It’s cost-effective to share a car, which typically costs around 60,000 pesos for four people.

Don’t miss the world’s southernmost post office, where the eccentric old man works according to his whims. If you just want to send a postcard, ask the staff at the park entrance to call and check if he’s in.

Popular hiking trails include the stunning Emerald Lake (Laguna Esmeralda), the turquoise Laguna Turquesa, and the majestic Glaciar Martial.

**Day 2️⃣:**
Spend the morning exploring the charming town. You can buy and stamp postcards, visit the colorful graffiti wall, the penguin-themed wall, and the landmark wall. Stroll near the ferry terminal for some picturesque views. If you have more time, the End of the World Museum is worth a visit; one day is usually sufficient to explore its exhibits.
