How to Find the Best Budget Homestay in Bariloche for Under $300?
We made the leap from the fast-paced city life to a tranquil suburban haven, just a 20-minute drive away. Our new temporary home is nestled in a local’s abode, where we were warmly welcomed by our host, Laura. Her house is conveniently located right next to her mother’s, and with her mother on vacation, Laura cleverly moved into her mother’s house and rented out her own.

Laura’s home is a charming retreat, brimming with an eclectic collection of items that tell stories of her adventures and passions. From her cherished artworks and well-thumbed books to a variety of lush plants, quirky fridge magnets, and unique bottles and jars, every corner of the house reflects her vibrant personality. Even her skiing gear adds a touch of adventure to the space.

The highlight for me is the quaint little yard outside. It’s a serene oasis with a few apple trees, two inviting chairs perfect for daydreaming, and a cozy fire pit. While the yard may need a bit of tender loving care, its genuine and unpretentious charm makes it all the more endearing.

I found myself lost in thought as I sat inside, basking in the warm afternoon sun that filtered through the windows. The light danced on the swaying leaves of the apple trees, casting a gentle glow on the ripening apples. With a steaming cup of rooibos tea in my hands, I savored the simple, unhurried beauty of the present moment.

These specific, real, and unhurried moments are truly the best times.
