I’ve been to the end of the world!

**Day 1️⃣**
– 11:30-12:50: El Calafate ✈️ Ushuaia
– 15:00-18:00: Embark on a breathtaking boat tour, where you’ll marvel at the iconic lighthouse, playful sea lions, and elegant cormorants. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a majestic humpback whale 🐋.

**Day 2️⃣**
– 08:30-14:00: Explore the stunning Tierra del Fuego National Park and ride the legendary End of the World Train.
– 15:00-17:30: Discover the charming town of Ushuaia, filled with unique attractions and vibrant culture.
– 19:55-23:25: Ushuaia ✈️ Buenos Aires

🌟 **Optimization Tip:** Penguins are not visible in Ushuaia from April to September. For the best chance to see these adorable creatures, plan your visit between October and March of the following year.

💙 **Travel Tips:**
1️⃣ **Boat Tours:** The boat tours offer similar experiences, with options for morning or afternoon departures. You can choose based on your schedule. There are numerous travel agencies at the Tourist Port in town for convenient offline booking. We booked through the Tolkeyen website, found the corresponding agency at the port half an hour before departure, and enjoyed a three-hour journey.

Highlights included the lighthouse from “Happy Together,” sea lions 🦭, cormorants, and a thrilling encounter with a humpback whale!
2️⃣ **Tierra del Fuego National Park:** When booking your trip to the park, ensure that the ticket for the End of the World Train is included. We used the Denomades website.

The adventure begins with exploring natural landscapes and the starting point of the Pan-American Highway, followed by a scenic train ride. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating stories about prisoners and enjoy the picturesque views. The only downside was that the End of the World Post Office was closed.

3️⃣ **Ushuaia Town:** Beyond the two main commercial streets, there are plenty of other must-visit spots in the town, such as the Ushuaia sign, various “End of the World” markers, and the whimsical Penguin Wall.
4️⃣ **Postcard Mailing:** There are multiple ways to send postcards from the end of the world.

You can mail them from the post office in Tierra del Fuego National Park (if it’s open) or the Correo Argentino – Sucursal Ushuaia. Even if you miss the post office hours, you can find a store with a mailbox 📮 in front and drop your postcard there. I personally tested this, and my family in China received the postcard 25 days after I mailed it from a store’s mailbox 🌆.
💜 **Food Guide:**
In mid-April, some popular restaurants like Bamboo and Old Captain were seasonally closed. However, we discovered two fantastic alternatives:
1️⃣ **Volver 🌟🌟🌟🌟:** A seafood lover’s paradise. We indulged in squid, shrimp, and a delicious seafood paella, all of which were superb. The portions were generous and satisfying.
2️⃣ **Casimrio 🌟🌟🌟🌟:** Nestled near the port, this grill house specializes in mouthwatering grilled dishes. The grilled beef pancreas (Molleja) was a standout, even surpassing what I had in Buenos Aires.
