Ultimate 3-Day Ushuaia Travel Guide: Must-See Sights & Local Experiences ❗️
[Argentina 10 Days 9 Nights] Episode 4 — Ushuaia Fun Activities
.
Ushuaia is located at the southernmost tip of South America and is also the world’s southernmost city. Ships heading to Antarctica depart from its port. It’s really beautiful when the weather is good, and I highly recommend staying here for two or three days to enjoy the slow life in this peaceful little town [selfie R]

🔹Tierra del Fuego National Park (Figures 2-4)
▫️Tierra del Fuego National Park: This is a must-visit spot in Ushuaia. You can also experience the train ride to the end of the world. We booked a 5-hour tour called “Half-Day Tierra del Fuego National Park with Train” on Viator, which includes hotel pick-up and drop-off, and the guide speaks both English and Spanish.

It was quite nice.
▫️Correo del fin del mundo: The world’s southernmost post office is also located in the aforementioned national park. The old man who runs it works whenever he feels like it, so you have to be lucky [facepalm R].

🔹Penguin/Seal/Lighthouse Watching (Figures 5-6)
▫️It was very windy and drizzling on that day.

The tour we originally booked to see penguins, seals, and lighthouses, which required 5 hours on the boat, was canceled. We found a last-minute tour with Puerto Williams that only goes to the penguin island. Part of the time is spent on the bus, and part on the boat. If you’re only interested in the penguin island, this is really great [thumbs up R].

🔹Strolling Around the Town (Figures 7-10)
▫️Ushuaia Tourist Information Office: You can get information and have your postcards/passport stamped at the tourist center. We also got two certificates as souvenirs [cute R].
▫️Ushuaia fin del mundo: There’s a small sign saying “End of the World,” which is a great spot for a photo!

▫️Ushuaia: The white letter sign. We came during Christmas, and there was a cute Santa hat on the U [warning: it’s better to come in the afternoon because the morning light will be behind you!].
▫️Penguin Wall: It’s really cute. You can find it by searching for Cafe Xpresso 🐧.
▫️Maritime Museum (Old Ushuaia Prison): The maritime museum is converted from an old prison.

It’s quite interesting and worth a visit if you have extra time.

That’s all! If you like my sharing, feel free to follow me. The next post will be about Ushuaia’s hotels and food [raising hand R].
