Ultimate Bariloche Travel Guide: Exploring Attractions & Getting Around Tips
Bariloche 3-day itinerary sharing: Town center, Cerro Campanario, Patagonia Cerveza, Isla Victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes
🔴 Town Center (P2-P6)
It takes about one to two hours to stroll around the town center. There is a small handicraft market (see P5), and there are also markets in the square (at irregular times).

The items sold at these markets are similar to those at the San Telmo market in Buenos Aires, such as handicrafts, leather goods, and chocolates, with comparable prices. When you get tired of walking, you can sit nearby and enjoy the leisurely atmosphere of the town.
🟠 Cerro Campanario (P7-P9)
This attraction is mainly for enjoying the view from the top of the mountain.

We took an Uber from the city center, which cost about 12,000 pesos, and the journey took 20-30 minutes. Upon arrival, you can choose to take the cable car or hike to the top of the mountain to overlook the snow-capped mountains and lakes.
🚠 The cable car costs 14,000 pesos per person (no discounts for student tickets or DNI), and it takes about 10 minutes to reach the top.

After buying the ticket, you don’t have to wait long, as there aren’t many tourists.
📸 At the top, there will be photographers taking pictures for tourists. A digital photo costs 5,000 pesos and is sent via email. You can decide whether to buy based on your needs.
☕ There is also a café at the top, where I recommend trying the chocolate caliente (coffee costs 3,000-5,000 pesos).

There is also a telescope set up that allows you to clearly see the Llao Llao hotel.
Notes:
The cable car service closes at 17:00, so it’s advisable to plan your time accordingly. If you want to savor the scenery, the afternoon is more suitable.
🟢 Patagonia Cerveza (P10-P14)
This is a restaurant by the lake with a great environment.

It’s recommended to book a table in advance (book through the official website). We were lucky when we went; there weren’t many people, and we got a seat.
🏔 In addition to outdoor tables where you can enjoy the lakeside views, the indoor decor is also very distinctive, making it perfect for taking photos.

🍺 I recommend the 24.7 beer, and there’s also a honey-flavored beer that’s quite good, costing 7,000 pesos per glass (about 500ml). The bread served before the meal is also delicious, don’t miss it!
Tips:
🧢 There is a small souvenir shop at the entrance, with nice designs, worth a visit.
Itinerary suggestion:
Cerro Campanario and Patagonia Cerveza are in the same direction and are very close to each other, so you can easily get there by Uber.

It’s suggested to schedule both in the same afternoon, visiting the mountain top first and then heading here for a rest and meal, which works out perfectly.

Isla Victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes will be shared in a separate post.
