Where to Go for the Best Lakeside Hike in Bariloche This Spring?

Bariloche is truly a breathtaking destination. Upon our arrival, the landlord greeted us with incredible warmth and introduced themselves. I only managed to remember one name, Laura, and from then on, we affectionately referred to them as the Old Man and Little Brother. From their cozy home, you can marvel at the distant snow-capped mountains and the serene lake. We quickly gathered our gear and set off for a hike along the lakeside path that winds away from their house.

We found ourselves alone by the tranquil lakeside, a private paradise. The Old Man and Little Brother joined in the fun, snapping photos with us. Their easygoing nature made every shot feel like a masterpiece. The Old Man had an air of an artist, though his specific profession remained a mystery due to the language barrier. Little Brother, a university student from Buenos Aires, was on a two-month break and eagerly showed us around.

The lake in Bariloche is a mesmerizing shade of deep blue, perfectly complementing the clear azure sky. It’s a sight that leaves you in awe. Standing by the water, you can lose yourself in daydreams or watch the birds gracefully glide by, as time seems to slow down. They patiently waited for us to capture the perfect moments, constantly giving us thumbs up and praising our photography skills 👍.

Thanks to their guidance, we ventured to secluded spots where we saw locals enjoying a refreshing swim in the lake 🏊. We took countless stunning photos. Sometimes, travel brings unexpected joys, and a positive attitude always leads to the most rewarding experiences.
