Discover Brisbane: A Unique Sunlit City Experience in Australia
Thank you all for your attention and the private messages. In this post, we continue our exciting journey through Brisbane.

5: Queen Street Mall
This bustling shopping street is a hub of major brands and diverse eateries, making it a perfect spot for both dining and shopping! If you plan to spend more time here, remember that most shops close around 5 PM, so it’s best to arrive early to make the most of your visit.

6: City Hall
Nestled in King George Square, Brisbane City Hall boasts an impressive neoclassical facade, adorned with mosaic tiles, stained glass windows, and soaring ceilings. The mayor’s office is on the second floor, while the Brisbane Museum is located on the third. Don’t miss the chance to take a free ride on Brisbane’s oldest cage elevator, explore behind Australia’s largest analog clock face, and enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the city (Photos 11-14).

7: Two classic churches in Brisbane are must-visit landmarks. The Albert Street Uniting Church, situated diagonally across from the City Hall, is a stunning example of Gothic Revival architecture, built in 1889. It stands as one of the most historically significant churches in Brisbane and one of the few 19th-century stone buildings.

St. John’s Cathedral, the only Neo-Gothic cathedral in Queensland and one of the few in Australia, began construction in 1906. Perched at the highest point on the street, it resembles an ancient castle standing majestically on a hill when viewed from below (Photos 3-6).

8: Fortitude Valley, including the well-known James Street, is a must-see if you have the time. This vibrant area offers a unique blend of raw sophistication and artsy, bohemian vibes. If you enjoy a slow, simple, and relaxed atmosphere, this place is a true gem (Photos 15-18).

Tips:
1: While the attractions in Brisbane are relatively close, parking in the city can be challenging and expensive. Public transportation and ferries are highly recommended, with fares as low as 0.5 AUD, making them a great deal. Consider getting a Go card, available at 7-Eleven stores and Golden Casket outlets throughout Queensland.

2: The Australian sun is intense, so be sure to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to stay protected.
3: On Queen Street, between KFC and Coles, there’s a small alley where you’ll find Lune, a shop renowned for selling “the world’s best croissants.” If you have the time, treat yourself to a taste.

4: Free guided tours of the Queensland Museum can be booked online in advance, enhancing your experience with expert insights.
Due to limited space, follow me, and let’s continue to explore the world together.
Queen Street Mall sounds like a great place to explore! I love how it combines shopping with dining options, and the tip about arriving early is super helpful since shops close so early too.
