1️⃣ Blacksmith Bar & Grill (p1-3)
The garlic bread here is simply divine, and the ambiance is perfect with ample space and well-spaced tables, ensuring your conversations remain private.

The waitstaff are incredibly enthusiastic, making it an ideal spot for a romantic evening.
2️⃣ Society (4-5)
Finally had the chance to visit, and while the chandeliers add a touch of elegance, the service leaves something to be desired. The prices are steep, and it feels more like a photo op than a dining experience.

3️⃣ Tsuru Japanese Restaurant (6-7)
At $175 per person, the word that comes to mind is “ethereal,” but the value for money is quite low. The food is mediocre, and the decor is a bit outdated. It’s not a place I’d recommend.
4️⃣ Yakikami (8-9)
Priced at $150 per person, reservations are a must.

Highly recommend trying their skewers of grilled chicken; they’re incredibly flavorful and juicy. The lanterns add a charming touch. [Sly smile R]
5️⃣ Warabi (p11-12)
At $285 per person, securing a reservation is relatively easy. The sushi bar has limited seating, and there are no private rooms, so privacy is somewhat compromised.

You’ll need to find the right angles for those top-light photos.
6️⃣ Minamishima (p13-14)
Priced at $295 per person, this restaurant, named after its chef-owner Koichi Minamishima, is the most expensive omakase in Melbourne and boasts three hats. Getting a seat is a challenge, often requiring a 1-2 month advance booking for the sushi bar.

The quality of ingredients is exceptional, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the wine list is both comprehensive and intriguing.

Located in Southbank, this high-rise sky bar and restaurant offers breathtaking night views, making it an excellent choice for dates and special celebrations.
